Merry Christmas a day late! I've been at my grandparents and spent Christmas with them. So far, I've gotten a bunch of money, some Cd's, Amy Grant's autobiography, a best buy gift card, and in my stocking I found candy, and some nail polish. It was a lot of fun. Today I'm going to go see my other grandparents, and cosines, and aunt and uncle and great-grandmother to do Christmas with them. It should be fun. I love running around with my cosines, so it should be seeing them.

Christmas

Well, it's over. Finals are finally over. It hasn't even been a whole week, and it has felt like forever-or like I've been slowly eaten alive, take your pick. But is all over! And it's Christmas break, which is even better!
And speaking about Christmas, while your out buying your Christmas presents, or sitting in mall traffic, wondering when the next time you will move (though I have been through worse), remember this: Christmas is not, nor will it ever be, about the stuff. It's not about how good of Christmas your giving or getting, or what you don't get, it's about Jesus Christ-God in flesh-coming down this sinful, dark world to save you and me from our sins in the most painful way possible. He shed his blood, he paid the price for you and me! He didn't have too, he didn't have to leave his rightful heavenly home to come die for us. But he did, because that's how much he loves us.
So remember: keep the Christ in Christmas

Pointe Test results

I PASSED! I PASSED! OMG I PASSED MY POINTE TEST! I GET TO GO BUY MY TOE SHOES OVER HOLIDAYS! Then when classes start back up again I'll get to be in beginners pointe!

Finals, Christmas, and Pointe test

Life is starting to turn upside down! Next week is finals, so I have been piled up with all the reviews! Looking on the bright side, we only have one more week minus a day (we get out Thursday) of school before holidays, and all of them except Monday we get out at 1:00!
It's been FREEZING cold, and it doesn't help that none of the hallways have heaters! But if you look on the bright side, cold weather means Christmas is coming! And who doesn't love the holiday season??
This Saturday is my pointe test. And for all of you who do not know the ballet language, pointe means to wear the special ballet shoes that let you dance on your toes. It is every ballerina's dream to dance o pointe. So I really hope I pass! Wish me luck!

I don't know who said it, but I think it is an amazing quote. So girls, get hidden in Christ, and if the man is also hidden in God, the nhe isn't the one for you! So keep the faith through the good and the bad times!

Christmas Party

Well, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, I guess! Today I really felt the Christmas spirt, cuz not is it the first day of December, but I went to my very first Christmas party. It was an all-girl party at my church. We dressed up, decorated cookies, and took pictures. It was so much fun! We also had a white elephant gift exchange. I got a book, and the word Faith in metal to put in my room.
Christmas season has truly started!
