Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And he is one man that truly desreves his own day-maybe we should a Martin Luther King Week or mounth. I think that would be cool. He was so great, why just dedicate just one day to man with such a dream, such a vision!
And speaking of Dreams, I encourage everyone to listin to his I Have a Dream Speech:

Odds and Ends
Hasn't it really been that long since I've written? Well, maybe I'll start getting on top of writing on my blog now that I'm getting back into the swing of things.
Much to my surprise, I haven't been stressed at all since school started at all, even when I got assigned two projects this week, due next week.
Tomorrow is my first day of pointe lesson. Wish me luck! Though personaly I'm sure I'll be fine, and even though it hurts, it's totaly worth doing something so beautiful.
And here's a really cool interview of my favorite band, the one and only, BarlowGirl:

Back to School
Well, it is back to school today. And considering that I really just wanted to do was stay at home all day, and watch movies (everyday last week I watched a movie), it was a pretty good day. Though I did wish I could go to only theatre and English-those are my favorite subjects and teachers. There are some subjects (like biology and geography) that just seem so totally pointless. How is this supposed to help me in the real world? I'm just wondering-I guess I'm going to have to keep on wondering.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Late!
I'm not sure about you, but I have had a pretty good year so far.
New Year's Eve I went to an all night party at my church with my youth group. We had worship time, countdown, laser tag, bowling, movies, pizza, and a lot of junk food. It was loads of fun, but it did keep me sleeping till 12:00 in the afternoon January 2, 2008.
Yesterday after I slept till noon, Mom and I went out to get toe shoes! To though who are not dancers, buying toe shoes for the very first time seems like no big deal. But it is. Every ballerina dreams about getting toe shoes and being able to dance in them. And I'm one ballerina who has been waiting for 10 and half years for toe shoes. And now I have to wait no longer.
Here is a picture of my toe shoes:
Aren't they so pretty?
