Homework

I know homework is there to help us learn and grow. And it does. But it doesn't always. When teachers keep piling it up, especially on Fridays, it doesn't help at all. It just puts pressure on us, making life stressful.
Take today for example. I went to to my 2nd period class. My teacher was constly giving us homework. Make a table for this, make a table for this, answer these questions for homework. In math we got homework-though I'm not complaing about math, because it is difficult, and it's good practice so I can get better-, and then I have to finish an English project, all of these things due on Monday.
Teachers, please remember we are only teenagers here! I'm not telling you not to give us homework, but don't always give us alot all the time. We do have other classes and other teachers who give us homework, who also except us to turn it in on time, and do it right the first time. And weekends. We need sometime to not be doing homework, not to be stressed, just two full days too to take a break.
I'm not criticizing teachers here-I acutely want to be one when I grow up. I'm just saying there is more to life then homework. Maybe if there isn't so much homework, we can expand our imagination by doing things that interested us-like playing sports, being part of a play/musical, playing a musical instrument. But where never going to be able to this if homework is running our lives!
